JW Sand Bird T-Perch

The rough sand coating really does keep my cockatiel's nails filed down without me having to wrestle him with clippers. He perched on it within the first hour and now it's his go-to spot by the window.

After two weeks my budgie's nails are noticeably less sharp when he sits on my finger, which was the whole reason I bought this. The sand surface is rough without being harsh, and the T shape gives him somewhere to land instead of clinging to the cage bars.

My sun conure actually chews on the sand coating while perching, and it's been three weeks with no sign of overgrown nails. The T-shape gives her enough room to stretch her wings without hitting the cage bars, which she seems to appreciate.
