Getting your dog in and out of its harness is a cinch with the Petmate® Adjustable Standard Step-In Core Harness. Simply lay the harness flat on the ground and place the dog's front paws through the openings, pull the harness up around the chest, and then click the buckle shut. The easy step-in design and easy-to-use plastic adjustable slides are ideal for squirmy pets. Harnesses reduce stress, allowing the weight to be distributed evenly through the chest and shoulders when your beloved dog pulls during walking. Heavy-duty stitching for lasting quality and metal D-rings for attaching identification tags and a leash.

The step-in design means I just lay it flat, my dog walks right in, and I clip it at the back instead of wrestling it over her head. Took maybe ten seconds the first time, and the adjustable straps actually stay where I set them on our walks.

My senior beagle used to fight me every time I tried to buckle a harness over her head, but laying this flat and just stepping her paws in takes about ten seconds. The adjustable straps stay put once I set them, no sliding loose on walks.

My old dog hates having stuff pulled over his head, so laying this flat and having him just step through the front openings was a total game changer. The adjustable straps let me get a snug fit around his chest without any wrestling match.
