The quick-latch system on this kennel is way easier than the old metal door I had before—I can get it open one-handed while holding my wiggly beagle. Took him on a 6-hour drive last weekend and he stayed calm the whole time. Solid buy for the price.

The kennel's design is clean and modern, and the quick-latch system feels reassuringly secure. My only small gripe is that the plastic base could use a bit more padding for long trips.

The quick-latch door is sturdy enough that my cat can't paw it open, which was my main worry. Only downside is the plastic feels a bit slick when I'm carrying it by the handle up stairs. Solid for vet trips and short hauls.
