The ramp has completely changed our car rides with our aging lab. It's the natural-step design that sold me, since the gentle incline is way easier on his hips than jumping. Now he loads up on his own without me lifting him.
My arthritic shepherd mix actually hops in the car again instead of waiting for me to lift her. The ramp grips the tailgate edge securely and the surface keeps her paws from sliding on wet days. Folds flat enough to stash behind the passenger seat.
Watching my 12-year-old lab hesitate before jumping used to break my heart, but the gentle slope of this ramp gives her a steady path she trusts completely. It locks in place against the car door easily and feels sturdy beneath her paws, so she trots up with confidence now. I just wish I'd bought it
